the ace of spades lion woke me up and said that he was unhappy with his representation...he reminded me that although he could sometimes feel melancholy, he also had a fearsome roar and a talent for balance...

three ladies-in-waiting follow the queen of spades closely as she gallops through the land....if the ground is muddy they lift her flowing robe....

the king's steed is a six-footed-club-tailed-deer - who gallops tall, proud and swift through the desert plains of the club kingdom
